Unagitated by Desires -Summary by Bhakta Mohit

Kanhai Gopal Prabhu

A person who isn’t disturbed by the flow of desires can alone achieve peace.

A Krishna consciousness person is compared to an ocean because it is

always being filled by rivers and rain. Yet it remains the same and

steady. Unagitated.

Krishna consciousness has depth in life like the ocean, there is so much on the surface

but on the inside there is vastness to absorb everything.

The mind is a camera that captures and saves each activity. In the

spiritual life, we cleanse our minds, and while we start to cleanse,

our conditioning goes down.

1 DORMANT CONDITIONINGS

But it can have a resurgence because of memories. That is caused

because we aren't deep enough in the practice of Bhakti (Krishna Consciousness). Deep

enough, consistent enough and haven't practiced for long enough !

2 STRENGTHENING THE KRISHNA CONNECTIONS

We want to experience the spiritual connection and experience it in

some way. Which can be done by going deeper into the philosophy.

Similar to bhakti lata bija (seed of devotion).

‘We have to go deeper to go higher'

3 STRENGTH TO TOLERATE THE TURBULENCE OF THIS WORLD

How to not be disturbed by others unfavorable words towards us? Like the ocean, we

don’t need to be affected by distracting light waves.

4 RESIST TEMPTATIONS

When you can control your senses you can resist all temptations. One

can get that ability with sufficient spiritual depth.

5 WE NEED TO MAKE A PLAN

The plan is usually useless but the action of planning isn’t. This

shows devotional determination.

6 HYPOCRISY

One cannot fake spiritual depth. The reason that one can’t progress is

because of a lack of self-honesty.

When one doesn't make progress on path of Bhakti

One can’t say it's ok !

It's Kali Yuga - age of spiritual laziness.

One shouldn't remain in DENIAL of their duties.
